As a native of Staten Island, she played for the Staten Island Mustangs from Under-8 to Under-11, the Albertson Fury '91 from Under-12 to now and Eastern New York Olympic Development Program during the past four years. Prior to moving to Long Island two years ago, she and her two sisters travelled to Albertson from Staten Island several times a week for training and games. Albertson Fury '91 has won championships in the Premier League, NEWSS (National Elite Women's Soccer Showcase), WAGS (Washington Area Girls Soccer), the Raleigh Shootout and the Disney College Showcase. "Carly is a tough, no-nonsense defender. Great physcal specimen with speed, strength, and an awesome ability to go forward with the ball," commented Long Island Fury head coach Paul Riley. "Reads the game well, never loses a one on one battle and is a great locker room personality." Carly's favorite soccer team is the Liverpool Football Club, also supported by Coach Riley and her older sister Alaina, who has played for Long Island since the team's inception in 2006.
