"Courtney Cohen is a young, talented, skillful, hard working player who has a tremendous soccer career ahead of her. She is an excellent target forward who not only has the ability to hold onto the ball but has very good vision of the field which allows her to make quick decision and is also a very dangerous striker around the 18-yard box," commented Fury head coach Michael Demakis. "She will be bringing a great work ethic and ability level to the Long Island Fury."

The Lake Grove resident plays forward and center midfielder for the Albertson Elite Fury of the Long Island Junior Soccer League, the Eastern New York Olympic Development Program, the Region 1 team and the varsity team at Sachem North High School. She has been elected to the National Honor Society during the past three years, named Student of the Year in Math Science and Honored as Best Female Athlete at Cayuga School and Samoset Middle School. She was also honored as All League and All Conference at Sachem North despite playing against much older opponents.
