![]() Goalkeeper Arianna Efstathiou The Massapequa Park resident describes her best moment ever on a soccer field as winning the State Cup in 2006 with Albertson Fury '89. She also did wonderfully at St. Anthony's High School where she was on the Honor Roll for all four years, won the St. Bonaventure Award for her high marks and made All-State in girls soccer. "Great hands, super reflexes and a winning attitude to go with it. She is a very good all round goalkeeper with the ability to come up with the big save but also make the routine stuff look comfortable," commented Long Island Fury Director of Football Paul Riley. Soccer is not the only sport in which she excels as she's also a black belt in karate. She played one game for the Fury in 2010, making five saves and giving up one goal. After the Fury season this summer, Arianna will return to the nation's capital to study at and play for American University as a junior.
