Hodak has swiftly climbed up the youth soccer ladder from club to state to regional team. She competes in club soccer for the Long Island Junior Soccer League's Albertson Fury '90, currently ranked fourth in the nation. The four-time State Cup champions were National Elite Women's Soccer Showcase (NEWSS) champs in 2007, Jefferson Cup champs in both 2006 and 2007 plus Raleigh Shootout champions in 2006. They have also been finalists in the Regionals, the Disney Cup and Las Vegas College Showcase.

The 18-year-old led the Sayville High School Golden Flashesthe Golden Flashes to the Suffolk County championship game in 2007 and 2008. Hodak was honored as the Suffolk County Small School Player of the Year in both 2007 and 2008, named All-State three times, Newsday All-Long Island twice and was Sayville High School Captain for both 2007 and 2008. She was named one of Top Drawer Soccer’s Top 100 Recruits in the Country.

She now also plays for the University of Maryland Terrapins.

When asked for her best moment ever on a soccer field, Hodak replied, "Two summers ago at Regionals in Maine was amazing for me. Our Albertson Fury '90 team just played so well. Even though we lost to the Bucks in the finals, we had come so far together! It’s an experience I will never forget!"
