Ippolito spends her autumns in goal for the Loyola College (Maryland) Greyhounds. "Danielle is an excellent young goalkeeper. She's a fantastic shot saver, great on crosses, reliable, consistent performer. Superb presence on the field and as brave as they come," commented Long Island Director of Football Paul Riley. "The Long Island Fury is very happy to have such a top-notch goalkeeper." When asked what her best moment on a soccer field was, the North Bellmore resident replied, "Too many best moments to single one out--winning the State Cup four times in a row, winning Raleigh Shootout on PK's, last year at Regionals making it to the finals. Basically any and every moment I'm on the field with my Fury sisters is a great moment!"
