The Babylon resident is a student at St. John the Baptist High School in West Islip, where she was named to the National Honor Society and the High Honor Roll in addition to being the soccer team's Most Valuable Player as well as All-League, All-Long Island and All-State. She led the Cougars to the state championship last fall, winning Player of the Year honors. Pendergast plays club soccer for the Albertson Fury '92 of the Long Island Junior Soccer League. Her favorite food are cannolis, which could certainly supply a lot of carbohydrates before a soccer match.
