Cari had a smashing debut for the Fury in 2009 as she scored three goals and had one assist. She was honored for BigAppleSoccer.com's Goal of the Week on July 13 She had two goals and one assist for the Fury in 2011.

"Cari is one of the most gifted athletes I've coached," commented Long Island Fury Director of Football Paul Riley. "She is an amazing physical specimen with a great feel for the ball."

Roccaro, a student at East Islip High School, was named the East Islip Girls Varsity's Most Valuable Player last fall. The East Islip resident also was honored as the Most Outstanding Player in the 2008 Suffolk Class AA Final, was named All-Long Island and All-State plus her team received the Section XI Sportsmanship Award. Also at East Islip High School, she was named All-Conference in Track & Field during 2008 and was named Scholar/Athlete for the soccer and track teams with Minds in Motion.

Roccaro also plays soccer for the Albertson Fury '93, State Olympic Development Program team and Region 1 team and is in the Under 17 and 18 Women's National Team.

"Cari has a super future in this game and her ability on the ball, shooting prowess and tactical knowlege make her a player to watch out for in the WPSL. She is only a youngster but it's a massive credit to our youth program at the Albertson Fury that a player of this age is mentally and physically tough enough to play at this level. She will play alongside some of the best college players in the country and I have every faith she will be a phenominal success," concluded Riley.

Cari's best moment on a soccer field came playing in the Under-17 World Cup qualifiers in March 2010 in scoring her first international goal and being part of the "Haitian Hug" with the players from Haiti after their game. She's a bit of a prankster and likes to make up funny nicknames for people.
