Midfielder Kim Rose Kim Rose scored one goal in 2008, in her WPSL debut on July 12, 2008 against the Central Delaware Future. "Kim is a true midfielder in every sense of the word. Athletic, intelligent, a superb percentage passer and a first class team player," commented Long Island Fury Director of Football Paul Riley. "Kim will make a major impact at Dartmouth in her freshman year and I think she will make a major impact for the Long Island Fury this summer." The Seaford resident currently plays club soccer for the Long Island Junior Soccer League's Albertson Fury 90, currently ranked fourth in the nation. Rose has won an incredible tally of seven State Cups--four with Albertson and three with Massapequa. At Seaford High School, she is President of the National Honor Society. As a freshman in 2005, she received All-Class honors and as a sophmore and junior received All-County honors. In 2008, Rose was the Varsity team's scholar-athlete and recently won the Outstanding High School Achievment Award honoring four Nassau County scholar-athletes. She also serves as captain of both the Albertson Fury and Seaford High School. "Although I've had so many great moments on the field with the Albertson Fury, my favorite moments were winning my first State Cup with the Fury in 2005 and playing in Regionals last year and overcoming such a hard bracket, that included the former 2007 National Champions, and making it to the finals," Rose commented. "That was the best tournament I've ever seen our team play and I am so honored to be able to play with such an amazing group of girls who have become my best friends." Rose also plays soccer for Dartmouth College.
