Midfielder/Defender Jane Wallis Wallis will be travelling 100 miles round-trip a few times per week from her home in Briarcliff Manor to Long Island to play and train with the Fury. Perhaps with her favorite food--a cinnamon raisin bagel, toasted, with cream cheese--in tow. Wallis plays club soccer for Albertson Fury '91, for the Eastern New York Olympic Development Program plus the Region 1 Team and describes her best moment on a soccer field came "scoring three goals in the Disney finals in 2009 against the Vista Shockwave." "Jane is a natural lefty with bags of energy, fire and skill. Destined for great things both at college and the WPSL level," commented Long Island Fury Director of Football Paul Riley. At Briarcliff High School, Jane received four All-League, four All-Section and one All-State award plus is a member of the National Honors Society. She will be attending George Washington University again this fall.
