Long Island Fury to Appear on National Television Tomorrow

(June 1, 2006, Albertson, NY)-The Long Island Fury is very pleased to announce that a feature about the Women's Premier Soccer League team will air tomorrow night, June 2, 7:30 pm on the Fox Soccer Channel. Program FC Fox filmed the Fury playing and interviewed many of the players. The show will also be repeated during the course of the next week.

The Long Island squad is the pinnacle of the Fury girls premier system, the only top-to-bottom premier club on the island. From Under 7 to Under 18, girls proudly wear the Fury uniform and now they have a top level women’s team to support, follow and play on.

The 1-0-0 Fury next play two home games, Wednesday night, June 7 vs. the New York Athletic Club and Friday night, June 9 vs. powerhouse New England Mutiny. Both matches kick off at 7:30 pm at the Hofstra Soccer Stadium.
