Long Island Fury Announces Make-Up Date of Postponed Match vs. NYAC

(June 25, 2006, Albertson, NY)-The Long Island Fury's home match against the New York Athletic Club on Wednesday night, June 7 was postponed due to heavy rain and an unplayable field.

This match has been rescheduled for Thursday night, July 6 at Michael Tully Park in New Hyde Park. Kick-off is set for 6:30 pm.

In other words, the postponed 6/7 match will be played on 7/6 instead.

The Fury meet the New York Athletic Club for the first time ever tomorrow night, Monday, June 26 on Travers Island for a U.S. Open Cup match. Kick-off is at 6:30 pm.

The 3-0-1 Long Island Fury, competing in the Women's Premier Soccer League, is the pinnacle of the Fury girls premier system, the only top-to-bottom premier club on the island. From Under 7 to Under 18, girls proudly wear the
