General Manager Paul LeSueur
General Manager Paul LeSueur has been actively involved in all
levels of soccer as a player, coach and administrator. He played
collegiate soccer at Springfield College, where he earned an NCAA
Division 2 national championship and tournament MVP honors in 1969.
LeSueur played professionally for New York Inter of the
German-American Soccer League and the New York Cosmos, capturing the
1972 North American Soccer League championship. He also won an
Over-30 national championship playing for Lynbrook Steuben of the
Long Island Soccer Football League.
Most recently, as General Manager he led the expansion Long Island Fury to the Women's Premier Soccer League national championship last year as well as being selected the WPSL Organization of the Year. His role as the Fury's General Manager will continue in addition to his new position with the Academy, partners to the Fury.
LeSueur has coached collegiate men's soccer at both Adelphi and CW
Post. Most recently, he worked with the New York Power of the
Women's United Soccer Association as their Director of Community
Relations and Director of New York Power Camps.

overall growth of the game here on Long Island, especially for women
wishing to compete at the highest level."
A long-time Garden
City resident, LeSueur has been employed as a teacher, coach and
athletic director in Nassau Couty. He also served as the coordinator
for Nassau County Boys Soccer for a decade.
