Defender Kerri McNicholas
The East Islip resident also plays for the Boston College Eagles. With both the Fury and B.C., McNicholas plays alongside Fury captain Mary Schneck.
"Kerri is a quality defender who loves to overlap and get involved in the attack. A tremendous athlete with a real tactical understanding," commented Fury head coach Paul Riley. "Another addition to a powerful back line," Growing up, McNicholas competed for the Eastern New York Olympic Development Program for six years and the Regional ODP team for five seasons, capturing the 2001 national championship. She also starred in her Long Island Junior She was invited to national team camp in 2001 and has travelled to France, Ireland and Spain with the regional side. At East Islip High School, McNicholas was selected NSCAA All-Region, All-State, All-Long Island, Suffolk County Player of the Year and league Most Valuable Player. The honors continue as she was also class valedictorian, AP scholar and a member of the National Honor Society.
